Join us at the Climate Adaptation Summit 2021

Our planet is heating up and alarm bells are ringing on all sides. Join us at the CAS for 24 hours of international discussions dedicated to coordinating actions and initiatives towards a climate-resilient future.

Hosted by the Netherlands on 25 and 26 January 2021, the online international Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 convenes global leaders and local stakeholders. Objective: to set out clear commitments to deliver new endeavours and partnerships to make our world more resilient to the effects of climate change.

As an operational tool to meet the commitments of the Paris Agreement, the SCO is participating in the event to:

  • Promote the role of the Space Climate Observatory in climate change adaptation;
  • Highlight the innovative solution it represents in this multilateral approach;
  • Promote the commitment of space agencies and international partner organisations;
  • Invite the CAS network to support and join the SCO.

Identified as a tangible key initiative, the SCO has produced a short video, which will be broadcast on CAS TV and included as a virtual side event at the summit for participants to be able to watch.

Adaptation to climate change is everyone’s business; register to participate in CAS 2021.
