Coming soon: the SCO World Virtual Congress

Published on 09/09/2026
Unmissable and innovative, global and regional, comprehensive and multi-thematic: the SCO World Virtual Congress, taking place during COP 31, is designed for the whole world, both in terms of its content and its organization. Not to be missed!

Every day, the Space for Climate Observatory demonstrates the remarkable potential of space technology to help regions adapt to climate change. Through its participation in major global events and the solutions delivered by its projects, it is recognized on the international stage for its action and its unifying role.

The alliance is now entering a phase of maturity, as illustrated by the organization of the SCO’s first Virtual World Congress, announced on 9 September 2026 at the World Space Summit by the French Minister for Higher Education, Research and Space.

Thus, from 16 to 20 November 2026, during COP31, no fewer than 12 fully online webinars will be synchronized with the time zones of the various continents

🎯 Objective: To enable every region of the world, within its own time zone, to focus on its climate challenges, present tailored space-based solutions and explore opportunities for collaboration.
