Satellite-based Carbon Mapping for Thailand’s Forest

This Carbon Digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) Platform leverages remote sensing technology and artificial intelligence to enhance carbon-related initiatives. It currently provides above-ground biomass (AGB) and carbon stock data for Thailand (2022) across various scales, and will offer English language support by 2026.

Building tomorrow's developments today

Developed as part of the Target 2050 project, the Netcarbon application is designed for local authorities and developers who want to assess and optimize the climate performance of their development projects. Thanks to a simple rating system, the solution enables the design of projects aligned with France's 2050 targets in terms of carbon neutrality, zero net land take (ZAN), and heat resilience.

Estimating soil carbon storage from cover crops

Conducted using a LivingLab approach, the Quantica project combined two models (plants and soil) fed by remote sensing data to assess, at the plot scale, the carbon storage caused by cover crops. This approach relying on remote sensing is recommended by the Bas Carbone label and avoids discounts on the calculation of the carbon credits allocated to the farmers.
